Queen Elizabeth II: 1926 – 2022

Upon the news today of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we offer our prayers for the repose of her soul, and for her family, the United Kingdom and the Nations of the Commonwealth.

A faith-filled and gracious leader, Queen Elizabeth stated the following in her Millennium Christmas message, ‘To many of us, our beliefs are of fundamental importance. For me the teachings of Christ and my own personal accountability before God provide a framework in which I try to lead my life. I, like so many of you, have drawn great comfort in difficult times from Christ’s words and example.’
