O’Gorman High School, the mini “Broadway of the North”, is busy preparing for their upcoming performances of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.

“We are very excited to be performing ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ for this year’s musical event.  The music is iconic, and really challenges our talented students,” said Lauri-Ann Loreto Neal, OHS Drama Teacher and Director.

“We have a very strong group of singers and actors that will showcase this musical excellently.”

While the front end of the house is practicing their roles and memorizing their lyrics, the back end of the house is equally busy building and preparing the sets and designing costumes.   The support mechanisms are just as important as the actors to make a full production work.

O’Gorman High School’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ performances will be taking place on May 1st through to the 4th, 2013 at the Sylvia Gravel Theatre, located within OHS.   Tickets will be available at Alfie’s Cigar Store in Downtown Timmins or the Timmins Square at a cost of $20.00 each.
