“Reports that the government is considering expanding access to on-line and remote learning threatens to undermine the quality of education for students and is of deep concern to Ontario’s 29 publicly funded Catholic School Boards.

These significant concerns and serious implications include:

  • Negatively impacting the quality of learning experiences and equity in opportunity for students.
  • Immediate and long term reductions in funding.
  • The ability of Catholic and other school systems to realize their distinct missions.”
