Have you Voted?

We have extended the deadline for voting in the OCSTA Short-video Contest for students at CDSBs. The deadline for voting is now January 11, 2023.

As mentioned in previous communications, all CDSB trustees, students, staff and communities are invited to vote on their favourite elementary and secondary student video submissions that best reflect how acts of Christian service and kindness to one another gives witness to our Catholic faith.

All video submissions are approximately 2-minutes in length or less. The winning entries will be announced at the Catholic Trustees Seminar on January 20, 2023.

Catholic Trustees Seminar

January 20-21, 2023
Delta by Marriott Hotel – Toronto Airport

We look forward to welcoming attendees at the upcoming OCSTA Catholic Trustee Seminar. This much anticipated professional learning event for Ontario’s Catholic school trustees will be held from January 20 to 21 at the Delta by Marriott Hotel – Toronto Airport.

The Seminar program includes timely workshops on current matters, engaging plenary sessions, a special evening dinner event, and a Eucharistic Celebration. To learn more about the program and to register click here.

Toonies for Tuition Campaign

For a donation of a toonie or more, you can share the gift of Catholic education. Become a part of the nation-wide “Toonies for Tuition” Campaign.

Proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Catholic School Trustees’ Association’s “Toonies for Tuition” fund which provides tuition assistance to Catholic students in provinces that receive limited or no public funding for Catholic schools.
