About 16 Niagara Catholic secondary school students will take advantage of Niagara Catholic’s International Co-op Program and head off to Guatemala from February 15th to May 15th, 2010. This is a once in a lifetime, unique learning and living experience for students as they join the Wells of Hope team in various placements including the water development project, the medical clinic, construction, auto mechanics, retail sales and in the orphanage.
Students will participate in and experience all aspects of development/aid work and earn 6 credits in the process. They will have a hands-on opportunity to actively respond to the Gospel Challenge of feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and visiting the lonely.
