“The government’s announced schedule for the reopening of schools based on recent data and advice from the Chief Medical Officer of Health is very good news. We know that students benefit most from in-school learning where each day they witness the professionalism and Christian example of their teachers and other staff in Catholic schools throughout Ontario.
The funding announced earlier this week will provide much needed resources to support Catholic boards in continuing to place priority on the health & safety and well-being of their students and staff.
Through our 29 member Catholic school boards, the OCSTA will continue to monitor the safety of our schools and remains committed to being responsive to the ongoing needs of our students, teachers, school leaders, support staff and families.”
