Several classes of English and French Immersion Intermediate students at St. Catherine Catholic Elementary School, in Peterborough were challenged to ignite their sense of creativity, when asked to create a visual representation of the theme of Catholic Education Week “Igniting Hope / Allumer la flamme de l’espérance.”

Students enthusiastically answered the call, by submitting some exceptionally creative pieces of artwork which were compiled into one incredibly moving presentation. Students enjoyed this Religious Education/Art cross-curricular assignment so much, that many of them asked their teachers to do another similar assignment this week. Enjoy the presentation!
