It's not often that media in our communities choose to focus on the
distinctiveness of Catholic education, but when they do it is a great
opportunity for us to highlight this story and share it with our friends
and community.
The June 10th issue of the Chatham Daily News features a unique story
about one student's insight into the meaningful and spiritual experience of Catholic
education. She wrote a poem about Catholic education for her school's
public speaking competition and was then invited to share it with the
trustees of the St. Clair Catholic DSB.
"We are who we are, and we are content. Being ourselves to the fullest
extent," said the Monsignor Uyen Catholic School student during one
